Eucharistic Ministers at Our Lady Star of the Sea

Serving as an Extraordinary Minsiter of the Eucharist at Our Lady Star of the Sea, reflects not only a response to your Baptismal call to serve the people of God, but a commitment to Christ as you share in the worship ministry of the Church. You offer the Eucharist, as you also recognize the Body of Christ in those to whom you offer Eucharist. Your willingness to commit to a monthly schedule, to prepare for your service, and to arrive on time dressed appropriately for your assigned Mass, further reflects that commitment.
The Qualifications for Eucharistic Minsters are:

You must be a practicing Catholic, having been baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church

At least 21 years of age

If married, married in the Catholic Church
The requirements for Eucharistic Minsters are:

Attend appropriate formation and training within the Camden Diocese*
-
Be willing to serve at an assigned Mass, or make timely substitutions with another qualified Eucharistic Minister
-
Make a minimum of a two year commitment
-
Willingness to attend bi-annual liturgical parish meetings
* Anyone who has attended the School of Liturgy in the Camden Diocese or has participated in the School of Liturgy training within our parish. The certification for this ministry does not transfer from Diocese to Diocese.
